Some of my art...

I don't have a name for this one, except for "Nature" (17.5 X 24 in.) which was the name of our project.  We had to creative something from nature.

"Bob Marley"
This picture was made entirely of pieces of magazine glued to a piece of paper.

I don't have a name for this picture.  I made it in Art I, we had to draw a vanishing point with streets and buildings.  We used watercolor paint on this one.

"Still life #2"
This is another still life, made in Art II.
Our teacher did the same thing, setting
up random objects in the center of the
room and we had to draw the, using value,
but this time we could use pencil, black chalk,
and white pencil.

"Shark"

We had to draw with pencil only something from life, in art 3.  I drew my Shark Watch.  This taught how to make things look 3 dimensional.

                                          "Anxiety"
Made in art 3.  We had to randomly pick an emotion and
somehow paint it, so that if someone looked at your
picture they could tell what emotion you were trying to
create. This was painted with acrylic paint.

                                                 "Pandas"
I made this in art 2.  Our assignment was to paint an animal and make it kind of realistic looking but with very abnormal and strange colors.  If we used warm colors on the animal we had to use cool colors for the background.  I love this because it is so bright and happy and the pandas are adorable.

                                            "Cupcake"
I painted this in art 2.  Our assignment was to paint something EXACTLY like a photograph.  It was supposed to look as realistic as possible as if it was a photo that you took yourself.  I was really pround of this and  I think that it is pretty good.

"Still Life" (17.5 X 24 in.)
We had to create a still like, with one of the mediums being chalk pastel.  I decided to just do the entire thing in chalk pastel because I hadn't used it that much before so I thought it would be good practice.  The pastel was very difficult to work with and it didn't turn out how I had hoped it would.

"Peace" (17.5 X 24 in.)
We had to create a peace project.  The first thing I think of when I think of the word peace is a dove.  In the background of the dove are magazine peices of pictures that are the opposite of peace.

"A Whole New World" (17.5 X 24 in.)
Our assignment was to create a creative self-portrait, so I put myself into one of my favorite movies.

"My Name"
For this project we had to draw 7 pictures of our hands doing different things, mine were spelling my name in sign language while two of them were holding something.  Also in the background of the hands we had to paint our initials in a cool type of text.

"Still life #1"
Our teacher set up a bunch of random objects in the center of the room and we had to draw them using pencil and using value.  This was made in Art I.

"Wassily Kandinsky"
I made this in art 3, it is acrylic paint painted onto a ceiling tile.  My inspiration for this was Wassily Kandinsky, because he is who I got this picture from to copy form.

                        "Abortion"
I made this in art 3, we had to choose
a social issue to somehow show how
we feel about it through our art work.
I just used chalk on this one.

                                               "The End"
This is one of the two sketches that we have to do every week
in art 3.  The topic I chose this time was "The End" and I chose
to draw this because at "the end" of every episode, Porky Pig would say "That's all Folks!" to show the show was over.
