My critiques and the processes I go through to create my art.

 "Blotches, Waves, & Stars"
I don't really have a real name for this one.  With this
piece of art I really wanted to try something new.  I
created this using only water color and sharpie.  The
background is watercolor, painted on, splattered on
and dripped on.  I wanted to make the star shapes
because I like the way they look, but at first they were
too plain with no design in them, so I added the wave
pattern.  I really like this project because I love all the
bright colors.  I also like that I used the whole space
and didn't leave any blank spaces.  If I had to change
something I might make the whole background waves
instead of just part of it.

"Drip n' Dots"
For this project I wanted to try another new thing.  I had seen other people try using stippling and I wanted to give it a shot.  It was very time consuming but it was still fun.  It's awesome how by just using dots you can create a whole picture with value and everything.  I stippled the whole face with ink and went over the whole thing with drips of watercolor.  I used cool colors in this one because I usually use warm colors for everything.  I am very happy with this one, but if I had to change or add something I might add some words of lyrics.
